CollectionHero
Scooby-Doo and those meddling kids have been solving mysteries for over 50 years Scooby Doo Where Are You!" debuted on CBS on September 13, 1969. Five decades later, TV viewers of all ages are still watching the goofy dog and his four human friends on their wild adventures Presented is an amazing early comparison model work sheet from the iconic animated show Scooby Doo, Where Are You? featuring the beloved cast of meddling kids and, of course, their meddling dog. Dated 3/17/1969 , these sheets are perhaps one of the earliest final work designs ever produced by the Hanna-Barbera Ink and Paint Department, preceding final production notes before being processed into the actual cels for the airing of the first episode on 9/13/1969. The foundation of the work sheets were first copied and given to the artists being finalized and noted by them for approval a full seven months before the very first airing of any Scooby-Doo cartoon! The whole Mystery Incorporated team, Velma, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, and Fred, all show up in this outstanding 12-field model sheet, featuring their unforgettable character designs courtesy of the legendary animator Iwao Takamoto (1925 - 2007) with an image sizes of 12" x 6.5". For over 50 years, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? has remained one of the most popular animated series ever created, bringing laughs and thrills to fans worldwide. This historical sheet, one of the earliest pieces of production from this timeless classic ever to come to market, brings us back to the early beginnings of the prominent Hanna-Barbera cartoon. An absolute must-have for Scooby collectors! The model sheet is labeled "Prod #45" in the top left corner, dated on the top right area. With some minor handling and edge wear and looks to be some coaster stains on the front and back from production artists, sheet are also showing a bit of wear and fragile for their age but still in presentable condition .An extremely rare 1970's animation production work sheet setup of Scooby Doo and The Gang.
